I’m so very sorry for just learning about the passing of AnneMarie! Many years ago we met at a log and timber show and hit it off with many wisecracks. It was always great seeing her and Dan. After dinners and those wisecracks life got in the way and we lost track. I called her for pointers and information over the year and always took it for granted that she’d always be there. I am shocked to finally learn that she won’t be there to answer my questions. She’s missed now and will always be. To all her family whether blood or not I am truly sorry for the loss of such a sweetheart.

We always enjoyed Annmarie's energy and enthusiasm, and her commitment to creating beauty in the world. Our son, AJ, a builder, knew and admired Annmarie for her leadership in construction. Her kids have been a joy in the world. She took part in the Saratoga Contest of Hat Making, a reflection of her diverse and creative energy. When we see the enclosed porch she built at Scotti's Restaurant on Union Street, in Niskayuna, we are always reminded of her abilities, skills and creativity. She will be missed.

Annemarie and I grew up on different continents but when we met later in life there was no doubt we were family. We kept laughing at all the similar things we liked. I greatly admired her artistic talent and very “Scottish “ hard working trait.
I just want to send my sympathy to all of the family.

Dr. Mitchell, Allison and all of Annemarie's family,
I'm shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Annemarie's passing. I will never forget that bright light of a little girl I babysat for all of those times, all of those years ago, who went on to be a mom, and an artist and professional woman--carrying that same bright light with her, apparently throughout her life.
The photo you provided looks so much the same as that little girl as to be recognizably the Annemarie I knew in an instant.
Allison and Annemarie and I had lovely times, all of those years ago, in the house on the hill in Niskayuna. They will remain treasured memories.

Dear Mitchell Family,
I ran into Annemarie at a Chamber function some years ago when I returned to the Capital Region. I'm so glad that I reached out and connected with Annemarie again last year. As always, she was her loving and giving self, and we talked about the good ole days in Niskayuna. Allison and Dr. Mitchell, my thoughts are with you and to your families. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
Love, Donna Seymour and Family.

Shane,
I have told you this already. Your mother was a selfless and gracious person. She fought for her family and health with grace and dignity. It truly was an honor to have known her and she will be missed. I hope my prayers offer comfort.
