Dear Shen UMC Members and Friends:
Please include Joyce Vaughn's family in your prayers, as she passed away on Wednesday, January 19. Joyce and her husband Bill have been members of the church for 25 years. During her time here at Shen UMC, Joyce enjoyed being part of the Patchwork of Love Quilting ministry, Over the Speed Limit, Dorothy Brown Circle and crafts. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 11:00am at Shenendehowa UMC. There will be a private interment at a later date.

I was so fortunate to have reconnected with Joyce over the last few years. She had a huge heart, and always had positive and heartfelt things to say. I will miss her greatly.

Joyce and I met when Ben and Tyler were classmates at Arongen Elementary School. We remained friends since then, and my day was always brightened when I saw or heard from her. Such a warm, lovely human being. My sincere condolences to the entire family. So glad she had time with Everlee before she passed.
