I worked for Gordon at Mullen Mayflower. We worked for three years over the road from Canada to the Carolinas and everyplace in between. Our truck was filled with Camel cigarette filters that Gordon would break off before he smoked the non-filter part.
Gordon gave me my trucking job fresh out of CTS. I remember fondly his excitement that he and Karla where waiting for the birth of the son Nick. Gordon was one of a kind, funny, insightful, just good person to work with. I was happy to see him awhile back while he was cutting his lawn. We sat down and talked about the old days. I am sorry for all the people who loved him, God bless you all

Gordon- you and I were together for more that 30 years. We had our ups and downs for sure, but through it all you were truly a kind soul. One that I am proud to have known, been with, and shared your name for so long. The world is lonelier now that you are no longer with us here. I know you will find the peace that you were always searching for now. My thoughts and prayers are with Nik, Samantha, Terry and all the Streeter family. Susan Streeter

Gordon and I were together for 8 years. I will always remember his quiet gentle manner and the way he was loved by all. He had many struggles in life and overcame them. He will be missed and my heart breaks for all of us. Peace Gordon

Oh Gordon, you were one of a kind and the world is a smaller, and sadder place without you in it. I know I’ve told you this many times before, but thank you for being a wonderful father. it’s meant the world to me. I’ve been blessed fo share your last name, your humor, and endearing friendship …for that I’m grateful. My heart goes out to Terry and the rest of your family.. we’re all going to miss you. Can you please come back as a Cardinal to let me know you’re okay?
Love Karla

Gordon Jay, you were one of the kindest soles I have ever met. I didn't get to see you often, but when I did, it was always my pleasure. Thank you for all you have done for our family, all of our aunts and uncles you took care of for years and stood by their side. I appreciated all you did for everyone. You will be missed. Thank you for being you. Love your cousin Laurie
