Marie has been my friend for over fifty years. We have both been through many trials and yet, through it all, she remained steadfast in her love for family - and George, she was so proud of the man you have become. In recent years, even as her health declined, I cherished the fact that when we looked back we remembered not only the fires but also the fun. We laughed often - sharing memories, sharing stories, sharing joy. Her friendship was a gift, and I hold her in my heart.
