Obituary of Beverly Ann Millet
EAST GREENBUSH –
Beverly Ann Millet, lately of 45 Hall Street in East Greenbush, passed away in the early morning hours of December 15, 2022.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Francis Millet, Sr., and was survived by her two brothers, six children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Born on October 28, 1936, as Beverly Ann Graham, she was the youngest daughter of Harold and Marion Graham of Speculator, NY.
Beverly spent the early years of her life residing at Graham’s Hotel where her parents managed the hotel and restaurant. She attended Lake Pleasant Central School and later graduated from Wells Central High School in Wells, NY. She later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the St. Mary’s Hospital Nursing program in Amsterdam, NY and spent her career as a Registered Nurse in various positions in and around the Adirondack Park. Beverly was a force for good in her life and a fierce advocate for fairness and equality.
While her husband Richard was still alive, they took daily rides through the local forests around the Speculator area to observe the wildlife and enjoy the scenery. Beverly was fond of travel and joined her daughters on a trip to the UK to visit her ancestral homeland in September 1998.
In her later years she enjoyed doing puzzles and expressing her opinion. She was never one to keep a strongly held belief to herself and if she had something to say, she made sure everyone understood her point of view.
