Andrew, or Andy, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Schenectady and attended Schenectady High School. Andy was a long-time employee of Tomra of New York. Andy loved spending time with his family, especially his children. He enjoyed a good summer cookout and time by the pool. Andy enjoyed summer camp outs in the backyard, lighting a good fire and making s’mores with the kiddos. You could find Andy by the water kayaking and fishing, he enjoyed fishing so much he was always planning the next fishing adventure and finding a new body of water. Andy looked forward to fantasy football and baseball drafts with his friends. Andy was a die-hard NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. In addition to his parents, survivors include his childhood sweetheart and wife, Cassandra Palombo, whom he married on August 30, 2007, in Schenectady. Together they had 5 beautiful children: Julieanna Palombo (called “Jules” by her daddy) Johanna Palombo, Gianna Palombo, Andrew Palombo Jr. (better known as “Bubbies”) and Benjamin Palombo (better known as “BenBen”).
