Obituary of Paul A. Meluch

ROTTERDAM – Paul A. Meluch, 79, of Rotterdam, passed away on November 27, 2022. He was born in Schenectady on December 6, 1942, to the late Anthony and Eleanor (Bukowski) Meluch. After graduating from Mont Pleasant High School, Paul enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1963 to 1966 when he was honorably discharged. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He then moved to Florida where he graduated summa cum laude with a BBA degree from Fort Lauderdale College. He then went to work at radio station WFLI. He retired as a supervisor in the records Dept. from the Fort Lauderdale police department. Paul previously belonged to the Rotterdam Elks and Rotterdam Eagles. He enjoyed getting together with his friends to play trivia, going to Jazz on Jay, or maybe just enjoying a beer. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Douglas Moran. He is survived by his sister, Karen Moran, and several cousins. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Paul’s memorial service at 12PM on Monday, December 5th in the Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue (corner of Broadway) in Schenectady. Interment with military honors will follow the service in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery in Rotterdam. Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with Paul’s family from 10AM until 12PM prior to the service in the Bond Funeral Home.
