Obituary of Richard C. Harding

CLIFTON PARK – Richard C. Harding, 75, of Clifton Park, NY, formerly of St. George, UT, passed away on August 30, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. The son of the late Harold W. Harding, Sr., and Dorothy (Blum) Harding, Richard was born on March 5, 1947, in Bath, NY. He was raised in Freeport, NY and received his education from Lake Forest College (IL) earning a bachelor’s degree. Most recently Rich worked for Wal-Mart Stores and was a driver for a vehicle transport company. His hobbies and interests included gardening, toy collecting, Harley Davidson motorcycles and he was a proud blood donor. Survivors include his siblings: Lewis (Sarah) Harding and Steven (Beatrice) Harding, and nieces and nephews: Victoria Johnston, Roberta Doering, Elizabeth Harding, Emily Harding, Lewis Doering, Harold Harding III (Bill), David Harding, Luke Harding and Paul Harding. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by one sister Barbara and one brother Harold, Jr. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the ICU Team at Samaritan Hospital for their compassion and care, especially Chaplain Philip. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Harding Family has chosen to honor Richard’s memory in a private way.
