Obituary of Felicia Ann Del Valle

BALLSTON LAKE- Felicia Ann (Parisella) Del Valle, 90, of Ballston Lake, entered into rest on May 6, 2022. The daughter of the late Vincenzo and Loretta (Manzi) Parisella, Felicia was born on March 4, 1932 in Millbrook, New York. Felicia spent most of her life in Millbrook, where she worked along-side her mother and father in family flower shops and landscaping businesses. Loretta and Vincenzo started Parisella Flowers in Millbrook and then Felicia branched out to Poughkeepsie, NY. During her career in the flower business Felicia was very active in Florist Transworld Delivery (FTD) from the 1960's to the late 1980's, and was the first woman Regional Director for the Northeast. Felicia was also involved in several women-in-business associations such as Zonta. She loved to travel and to entertain people in her home. She was always the life of the party and was happiest surrounded by laughing people. She had a wicked sense of humor and until the very last always had a witty one-liner comeback for everything. Felicia retired to Florida in 1980 with her late husband Julio Del Valle where they enjoyed cruises and traveled to Italy often to visit cousins there from Vincenzo's side of the family. She returned to New York in 2021 due to failing health and the need for family support. Felicia is also predeceased by her brother Louis J Parisella, her nephew James Parisella, and her niece Laura Ann Parisella Scott. Felicia is survived by nephews John Parisella of Ballston Lake, Michael Parisella of Chandler Arizona; and niece Annie Parisella of Ballston Lake. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph - Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 15 North Avenue, Millbrook, New York, 12545 on Thursday May 19th at 10 am.
