Dear Terri, Nikki and Andy,
I was so sorry to learn of your dear husband's and father's passing. Of all the students I ever taught, you, Terri, and your dear Ron, I remember best because of your warmth, sincerity and glorious smiles. On occasion I saw Nikki and/or Andy at The Spectrum and was not really surprised to recognize in them their parents' charm. May you find comfort in realizing how much of Ron you all carry with you.
With deepest sympathy,
Faye Silton

My deepest condolences to Terry, Nikki, Andrew and family on Ron's transition. He was a pioneer in shaping Alcoholism treatment as a disease worthy of quality and compassionate care. Ron was a very special soul, a dear colleague, wonderful mentor and friend and truly among the nicest people I ever met. He was always ready with a supportive word, wisdom to share and a George Carlin joke. His journey on this planet and the many lives he touched will not soon be forgotten.

Shawn McAvoy (Nephew). - I find the oddest things funny; and Uncle Ron was usually always with me on them. We would laugh at some really dumb stuff (Guy Stuff). I don’t know if others thought them funny; but we sure did; and it wouldn’t take long until we had an inside joke that we’d wear out over the course of a visit. Giggling, snickering, eye rolling, or nugging anytime we could work it into a conversation or situation. Good times, good memories, GREAT GUY.
