Obituary of Louis Wayne Skidmore

Troy, NY Louis Wayne Skidmore, 68, died on March 27, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital, with family by his side. Louis was a roofer by trade for all his life, possessing a keen intellect, he had to navigate through many challenges in his life. Besides his parents, Vera Backheld Skidmore (Wells) and Louis J. Skidmore he was also predeceased by his sister Elizabeth A. Tompkins. He is survived by his two daughters: Ashleigh D. Skidmore of Margate, FL, and Christine (Chrissy) Skidmore of Albany, NY, and his sister Lynn Skidmore of Latham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
