My sister, Phyllis L. Cristo-Pomeroy, married a gentleman and a scholar. Gordon was one in a million. His daily smiling face, left such a wonderful feeling to everyone he met. He loved my sister with a love like no other, I’ve witnessed. Our hearts are broken with the tremendous loss of such a great brother! That’s who he was to Rick and I. Heaven called him before we had a chance to say goodbye;( My sister left him holding his hand and telling him how much she loved him. She promised him he’d be coming home soon. His home turned out to be in Heaven, with his son, and parents instead. She gave him the hope he had lost. He passed away smiling, knowing how much he was loved by her, his children and grandchildren. It’s been my great honor, for my own children, to have known and loved him too. Sleep with the Angels sweet gentleman; you’re a great man we’ll never forget.
