Obituary of Miles Vincent Jackson

POESTENKILL- Miles Vincent Jackson, 57, of Poestenkill, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2022. Born in White Plains, NY he was the son of Patricia Caesar (deceased) and Roland Mason. Miles attended the Yonkers, NY and the Brentwood, NY Public School Systems in his earlier years. Miles was employed at the Taft Furniture Company (Raymour & Flanigan) in Albany, NY. Miles loved family, he endeavored to always be surrounded by his loved ones. Miles loved music and dancing. He loved sitting and watching the sunrises and sunsets. Miles loved movies, traveling, sports and video game challenges. Miles was stylish and never hesitated to purchase and wear the latest fashion and he wore it well. Miles loved to give monetary blessings to those in need on the street and was a push over for a crying child in the check out line wanting a toy or food item and would go out of his way to accommodate. In addition to his deceased Mother Patricia Caesar, Miles was predeceased by his eldest Sister Denise D. Jackson, his Aunt Betty J. Roberts, his Uncle Julius Caesar, and his Uncle Lesley Caesar. Miles leaves to mourn his living partner Sherry L. Teal (Sons: Joshua Teal & Drake Teal), his eldest son Blessit Coker Jackson (Daugher: Wynter Coker Jackson), his eldest Daughter Shafia C. Westbrooks (Daughter: Lauren S. Westbrooks) and his youngest Daughter Emyla Chandler. Miles leaves to mourn his deceased eldest sisters Daughter Renee D. Randolph (Son: Q’eyon D. Randolph Prince), his older Sister Andrea D. Jackson (Terelle K. Simmons, Son (Jasmine); Juanita J. Simmons, Daughter; William M. Simmons, Son), his Brother Gregory M. Jackson, and his brother Sean C. Hendricks (Myra) (Nzynga A. Hendricks, Daughter & Aaron B. Fletcher, Jr., Son (Nhadenel) He leaves to mourn his Aunt Catherine Caesar Brown, his Uncle Ervan R. Caesar (Vincenza), and his Uncle J. James Brown. He leaves to mourn a host of cousins, great and great-great nieces and nephews and a host of friends and acquaintances. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. As per the family wishes, the memorial service is open to all and the repass is private to the family and a select few of close friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted on 1:00PM on Saturday, February 19 at Greater St. John’s Church of God in Christ, 74 Fourth Avenue, Albany, New York 12202 with Supt. McKinley B.
