Obituary of Christopher Plunkett

VALLEY FALLS- Christopher Plunkett, 57, of Valley Falls, died unexpectedly at his home on December 14, 2021. Born in Troy on February 3, 1964, Christopher was the son of the late William Paul and Joan Marie (Manning) Plunkett. Christopher was raised in Lansingburgh and lived in Valley Falls for 32 years. He received his Education from Lansingburgh Central Schools and graduated in 1982. For over 40 years Christopher was employed by The Golub Corporation. In his spare time, he enjoyed cracking a cold beer and watching a NASCAR race or fixing any and everything he could find around the house. Survivors include his daughters Lindsay and Heather Plunkett, his step-children Leesa (Art) Naimo-Fredette and Peter Naimo, his grandchildren MJ Cropsey and Cora Fredette and siblings William (Sherri) Plunkett Jr. and Beth Geer. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by the love of his life, Jaclyn Andersen. Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-6pm on Tuesday, December 28th at Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Troy.
