Obituary of Margaret Mary Lynch

ALBANY- Margaret Mary Lynch, 79, of Albany, formerly of Rensselaer, entered into eternal rest peacefully with her family by her side on November 20, 2021. Margaret grew up in Rensselaer and was a graduate of St. John’s Academy in Rensselaer, class of 1960. She retired from the State of New York, Dept. of Health and Nursing. Margaret enjoyed cooking her favorite Italian dishes of eggplant parmesan, lasagna, and beef braciola for her family. She was a parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church and loved spending time with her granddaughter and the little Bellavia's. Margaret leaves behind her son Bryan (Nancy) Allen, her daughter MaryJo (Salvatore) Allen, granddaughter Samantha (David) Allen, sister in law Jean Allen, nephews; Brent (Marie) Allen, Braedon Allen, Josh Allen, as well as Goku her furry family member. Margaret was blessed with her dearest friends Margaret Tallman, Joan Kosinski, Jackie Morgan, Rita Burns, Beverly Testa, Marcia Paigo, Rosie Peterson, Sue Madeline, Joan Driggs and Alice Moore. A special thank you to Sal Bellavia. (her son in law & best friend) for your continuous caregiving for the past several years. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, her grandson Gabriel Joseph and her former husband Milton J. Allen. The family also wishes to thank The Community Hospice. Donations in Margaret’s memory are welcomed to either the American Lung Association or The Community Hospice. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
