Obituary of Carol A. Roberts

ALBANY-  Carol A. Roberts, 81, of Albany, formerly of Ravena, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2021.   She was born in Albany on December 22, 1939 to the late Wilbert and Eleanor (Layman) McIntyre.     Mrs. Roberts was formerly employed by both the Albany and Ravena School Districts in Food Service.     Carol enjoyed a good game of BINGO. She would also visit the casinos and take bus trips down to Yankee stadium. Carol loved to sew, she was talented in making crafts and creating award winning Halloween costumes.     Carol was predeceased by her husband the late George Roberts who passed away in 1994. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by siblings: Ruth Korzyk, Russell and Peter McIntyre and Rose Kalbfleish.  Carol is survived by one son, Kenneth (Abigail) Roberts, grandsons: Jarrod, Nick and Sean Roberts.  Carol is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as dear family friends she accepted as her own.   In the spirit of Carol’s love for animals, please consider making a donation to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.  In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no service.
