Obituary of Lansing V. TenEyck, III

Lansing V. TenEyck, III, "Tenney", 69, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a brief illness. Born in Albany, NY he was a son of the late, Lansing V. and Gertrude A. Olwin TenEyck.
Lansing grew up in Crescent and attended Schuyler Prep School in Schuylerville and later earned an Associates Degree from Columbia Greene Community College. He worked as a clerk in the New York State Senate, retiring in 1989. Later that year he moved to Maine. In 1995, Lansing returned to New York where he lived in Kinderhook until moving to Cohoes in 2008.
Lansing was a former member of the Masons and was a founding member of the Patroon Chapter of the BMW Car Club in Albany, he also served on the board of the Cohoes Public Library. In his spare time he enjoyed photography, writing and during the holidays; playing Santa Claus.
Besides his parents, Lansing was predeceased by his brother, Winthrop P. TenEyck.
He is survived by his sister, Ann C. TenEyck of Cohoes.
