Obituary of Francis W. Scully

Colonie, NY

Francis W. Scully, 78, died on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.  Born in Plattsburgh, NY, Frank lived in the Capital District area for most of his life.

Frank served his country in the US Army for 4 years from 1963 to 1967 and was a member of the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post #1520.  He was a member of the Boiler Makers Union #197 in Albany for over 40 years.  

Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Stanley Scully; his four children: Francis Scully of Rotterdam, Robert (Sharon) Scully of Cohoes, Alan (Melissa) Scully of Purling, NY and Mary Scully Felder of Albany, NY; siblings: Beverly Mucci, Patricia Santon and Sheila Halstead.  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 AM from the Reach Out Fellowship, 218 Osborne Road, Albany, NY 12205.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
