Obituary of Phyllis Rose DiCristofaro

Schenectady, NY

Phyllis Rose DiCristofaro, passed away on November 16, 2017 surrounded by family and friends at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home.  Born in Schenectady, NY, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith DellaRocco Palmer.  She was also predeceased by siblings: Carl Palmer and Ann June DeLorenzo.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Mario J. DiCristofaro, Sr., three children: Marie DiCristofaro-Smith (David) of Rotterdam, NY, Lisa Anne Williamson (Mark) of Plum Island, MA and Mario John, Jr. (Filomena) of Rotterdam.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Joseph (Kristin), Nicholas, Alexa and Olivia and great grandchildren: Brandon, Dylan and Austin.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 12 Noon from the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Homer, 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia, NY with the Rev. Richard A. Carlino, officiating.   Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 to 11:45 am, prior to the service.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choices, Inc.
