Every time I look at old kiddo photos of my Uncle Bill, I am struck by his eyes...eyes that seemed to gaze into another world. That world was filled with creativity and compassion and led him on a journey seeking knowledge and understanding. He always seemed like such a deep thinker. But I will always remember him as the funny, wacky uncle who used to make the dolls in the doll house come alive at my grandmother's house. As I recall, the baby in the doll house would rise up in the evening, fly out of her cradle and attack the other dolls that were sleeping... because of course, the baby was a vampire. He made us laugh. There was a lot of music at my grandmother's house and I remember Bill singing with abandon... pure joy on his face. That's how I will always remember him. I love you, Uncle Bill. xoxoxo
