Obituary of Lorraine Ann Roberts
HUDSON FALLS -
Lorraine Ann Roberts formerly of Hudson Falls peacefully gained her angel wings surrounded by her family on January 14, 2025 at Elderwood of North Creek.
She was born on January 19, 1931 in Norwich CT. Daughter of the late Alma and George Helm.
Lorraine was raised and then married in CT until moving to Upstate N.Y. She retired after 29 years at Boces on Dix Avenue.
She was predeceased in death by her siblings: Junior Helm, Richard Helm, husbands: Peter Evanuk, Daniel Roberts, grandson, Sean Evanuk, and son-in-law, Rodney Warrington.
Lorraine is survived by son Bruce Evanuk (Kathy) , daughters: Bonnie Rogers (Russ) Deborah Warrington, sons: David Roberts, and Daryll Roberts (Vicki), as well as her best friend of over 50 years, Angie Caputo.
Loving grandmother to several grandchildren and a “Gigi” to her great grandkids. Lorraine was a devoted, mom, grandmother and great grandmother doting on her family with such unconditional love she was selfless and instilled all her great characteristics and qualities onto her family. She loved to cook for her family and friends and never went anywhere empty-handed. Lorraine had a great love for the ocean and all seafood, making yearly family vacations memorable. Her life was a true testament to her deep love and commitment to her family. Lorraine always left a lasting impression with everyone she met, her infectious smile will be forever imprinted on our hearts.
Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff At Elderwood of North Creek for the kind, compassionate, loving care she was given over the past three years. She certainly will be remembered for always having an ample supply of candy to share with the staff.
At Lorraine’s request there will be no services.
