Obituary of Helen T. Lynch
VALATIE –
Helen T. Lynch, 82, of Valatie, formerly of Troy, departed this life peacefully on December 31, 2024.
Helen was born in Troy, New York on April 12, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Francis "Frank" and Mary Frances (Gainey) Ryan.
Helen was raised in Troy where she received her education locally and graduated high school. She has since resided in Latham, NY and Florida, lastly, Valatie, NY.
Helen was formerly employed by the State of New York in the Taxation and Finance Department.
The devoted and beloved wife of 54 years to the late William F. Lynch. Their union began on November 10, 1962 at St. Joseph’s Church in Troy, NY and sadly ended with William’s death on June 11, 2016.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters and their spouses: Kimberly Brant (John), Kellie Lynch (Jeff Sausville). Her four grandchildren: Amanda, Ashley, Jason & Andrew and one great grandchild, Finnley. Surviving siblings include: Joan Zampino and Frank Ryan.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Helen was predeceased in death by two sisters: Mary Frances Schofield and Catherine Elizabeth "Kay" Curran.
In accordance with her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Private interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Waterford NY.
