Obituary of Adelaide M. Belcher
CLAVERACK –
Adelaide M. Belcher, 88, of Claverack, formerly of Hudson, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on April 2, 2024.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Pulver) Kenney, Adelaide was born on July 1, 1935 in Germantown, Columbia County, NY. She was raised in Hudson, remaining a lifelong area resident and received her education with the Hudson City School District.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Robin Hanna, two precious grandchildren: Jason Belcher and Tara Belcher, one nephew Jim (Abe) Jackson, and one great nephew Kevin Kinney. She is also survived by her dear friends: Lynn, Brooke and Connor.
In addition to her parents, Adelaide was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Roland (Skip) Belcher Sr., her son Roland (Tuff) Belcher Jr., her sisters Patricia Stickles, Elizabeth Kenney, Natalie Rockefeller, Elmira Kenney, Cynthia and Margot Simpson; and her brothers Dwight, Harry and George Kenney.

Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Her ashes will be placed in the columbarium with her late husband, in the Gerald B. H. Solomon – Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
