Obituary of Margaret A. Henk
SHUSHAN –
Margaret A. Henk, 69, of Shushan, formerly of Wilton, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2024.
The daughter of the late Mario and Muriel Pandori, Margaret was born on November 27, 1954 in Schenectady, where she was raised and received her education from the former Linton High School and also Hudson Valley Community College.
Peggy, as she was known by family and friends, has been a resident of Schenectady, NY, Ballston Spa, NY, Wilton, NY, Shushan NY, and finally Hudson Park Nursing Home, Albany, NY.
Mrs. Henk retired from Verizon after many years of employment. During her life she held a membership with the Adirondack Harley Owners Group. Those who knew Peggy best, knew that she was a lover of all animals (but especially dogs). She also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, Jeffrey Henk, whom she married on May 26, 1974 in Schenectady, NY, and her siblings: Christina Thackery, Robert Pandori (Linda), and Carole Graver.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was also predeceased by her sister Mary McKee.
In accordance with her wishes, Peggy has chosen to be cremated and there will be no calling hours or formal funeral service. Arrangements were entrusted to: Simple Choices, Inc.
