Obituary of Mark E. Reedy
TROY –
Mark E. Reedy, 60, of Troy, passed away on April 15, 2024, at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York.
Mark was born on August 18, 1963, in Albany, New York, the son of the late Carol (Appel) Reedy Larpenteur and Michael Reedy. He has lived in Troy for most of his life. Mr. Reedy was formerly employed by CapitaLand Taxi for many years and also worked for a short time at the New York State Department of Tax and Finance, and also the New York State Department of Labor. Those who knew Mark best, knew he was a “diehard” New York Jets fan. Friends may also recall his love of music and trivia.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 24 years, Donna Reedy, whom he married in Albany on October 31, 2000. His children: Nicole (Wayne) Savage, Sean (Hailey) Reedy, Ryan (Carissa) LaJoy and Corey (AnneMarie) LaJoy. His cherished grandchildren: Alyssa, Nora, Hazel, Sophia, Cheyenne, Wyatt, Violet and Autumn. Mark is also survived by his sister, Kelly Reedy, sister-in-law Keiko Reedy and several nephews and his dog Jack
In addition to his Parents, Mark was predeceased by a brother, Michael Reedy.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Services will be private at the convenience of his family.
