Obituary of Robert J. Westcott
CLIFTON PARK –
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our hero, Robert (Bob) J. Westcott (77), of Clifton Park, NY and New Port Ritchey, FL, on August 23, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Born February 6, 1946, in Stoney Creek, NY, to John and Irene Westcott, deceased, Bob leaves behind sisters Valicia (Larry) Linn and Nancy Hawkins. When not working at General Electric, where he spent his career, Bob could be found volunteering with the West Crescent Fire house, tinkering with cars or camping with his family. Bob loved big, but his biggest love was for his beloved wife Gloria, children Kimberly (Adam) Serna, Robert J. Westcott II, Francine (John) Leonard, James (Holly Bayer) Pasquarell, and grandchildren Gabriella, John (J.T.), Jenna, Irene and Sofia, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob was many things to many people, but Husband, Father and Poppy were roles he cherished.
Although Bob will be dearly missed by all, he is no longer in pain and will be joining his faithful companion, Tate. Our hurting hearts are an indication of just how much we were loved.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
