Obituary of Elizabeth Jewell Krieger

CLIFTON PARK - Elizabeth Jewell Reynolds-Enders-Krieger lived 88 years until her death on June 9, 2023. She died peacefully at home with the assurance of seeing her Savior in heaven. Beth was born to Willis Leon Reynolds and Emma Lou (Hyden) Reynolds in their small farmhouse in Greggton, Texas, which had neither heat nor electricity. From Greggton they moved to Longview, Texas where she attended Pinetree Independent School District through grade 12 and was the valedictorian of her class. She went on to study home economics at S.F. Austin State University and met Harold Enders at the end of her freshmen year. They were married in 1955 until Harold's death in 1994. They loved to travel by car and by plane to visit with family and friends. Beth finished her bachelor's degree at SUNY Brockport in Elementary Education and went on to receive her master's degree from Miami University in Ohio. Beth and Hal lived in Hamilton, Norwalk, Dayton, Ohio, Rochester, N.Y., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Cherry Hill, N.J., and finally settled in Clifton Park in 1978. Beth left teaching and went on to have a very successful real estate career for over 20 years. Beth remarried in 2001 to Robert (Bob) Krieger and they had a wonderful 14 years together until his death in 2015. They traveled and cruised extensively and spent their winters in Boca Raton, Florida. Beth an avid reader, competitive game player, and master puzzler. She loved going to musicals, as well as, growing and enjoying her beautiful flower gardens. In retirement, she loved being involved in her communities of Boca Linda East and Grooms Pointe. Beth was a devoted Christian, her faith and church family were always an integral part of her life. She was committed to supporting missionaries and many other Christian outreach programs. Beth lived her life to the fullest and on her terms. Her smile, laughter, friendship, and love will be missed by all who knew her. Beth leaves behind her beloved children, Benjamin (Linda) Enders and Shelley (Mark) Casale; stepson, Robert Jr. (Maria) Krieger; stepdaughter, Cathy (Eric) Skamser; brother-in-law, Stanley Croft; grandchildren, nephew, cousins, and many dear friends. A special acknowledgment to her many caregivers, but most especially Indra Marks. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Visitation with her family will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. in the Faith Baptist Church, 11 Glenridge Rd, Rexford, NY 12148. Interment in Jonesville Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to: Schenectady City Mission.
