At Roxanne’s request there will be no formal funeral, in place will be a short interment service at Hillside Cemetery in Canisteo followed at her family (Lee and Jon’s) home Canisteo will be a celebration of Life Gathering and luncheon on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11 o’clock.

Obituary of Roxanne Richeson

ALBANY – Roxanne Richeson, 69, of 40 Providence Street, Albany, went to meet the Lord on June 8, 2023, at home after battling cancer surrounded by family and friends. Roxanne was a 1972 graduate of the former Canisteo Central School, Alfred State College, St. James School of Nursing, and received her BSN from Regents External. She is now retired from Albany Medical Center Hospital after 41 years of service. She is survived by her brother Lee and partner Jonathan Kenne of Canisteo, her beloved “fur children” Olivia and Jazz, along with an aunt and several cousins, and many friends who were nearest to her Jackie (William) Moore, Kim, and Wendy Molle of Albany. She was predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth Richeson, sister, and brother-in-law Karen (David) Gumport and most missed is her beloved fur child Phatom. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
