Obituary of William P. Delligan

DELANSON – William P. Delligan, 59, of Delanson, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on May 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Anthony, Sr. and Mary (McCullough) Delliagan, William was born on February 19, 1964, in Albany, New York. He was raised in the Town of Knox and attended local Berne Knox Westerlo Central Schools. William’s employment history included Better Deal Auto and HillTop Farms, Inc. Survivors include his wife of nearly 38 years, Stacy Ann (Rarick) Delligan, whom he married in the Town of Knox on July 1, 1985. He is also survived by his children and their spouses: Jessica Hauser, Steven (Paul) Delligan, Kevin Delligan, Alisha Delligan and Dalton Delligan. He was grandfather to: Warren, Keirsten, Justin, Kaitlyn, Serenity, McKenna and Dolce and great grandfather to: Wyatt. William is also survived by two sisters: Patty Lilienthal and Tina Delligan-Koons. In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by two siblings: his sister Jacki Olejnik, his brother Tony Delligan and one son, William P. Hauser. The Delligan Family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all their relatives and friends during this difficult journey, especially to The Community Hospice staff for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A Celebration of Life will begin at 10AM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Rock Road Chapel Ministries, Rock Road, Berne NY 12023.
