Obituary of Henry Joseph Weatherwax

STILLWATER – Henry Joseph Weatherwax born March 27, 1953, at 70 years old, he passed away at home on March 30, 2023, peacefully with his immediate family by his side. Henry was the son of the late Arnold and Susan Weatherwax. Husband to Claudia Weatherwax, which they shared 51 years of marriage and 2 children, 6 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Daughter, Becky Rutland and her 3 children: Richard Joseph Reese (Heather), Montana Skye Rose and Cayden Quinn Rutland; son, Henry Weatherwax (Amanda) and his 3 children: Colton Weatherwax, Landon Weatherwax, and Declan Weatherwax; his surviving siblings include: his brother, Glenn and his wife Dale Weatherwax, his brother, Thomas Weatherwax, and his sister Jean Weatherwax. Along with his brother-in-law Normand and Mary Gregg; aunt, Theresa Lampon, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Henry was an avid bowler who loved to hunt and fish in his younger years. As he got older, he enjoyed taking care of the house and the yard. He enjoyed line dancing with his wife and long rides on his motorcycle. He worked for Mohawk Paper Mill in Waterford, NY for 42 years before retiring. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. There will be a memorial service to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send Donations to Saratoga Hospice.
