Obituary of Clarence L. Gardner

On March 30, 2023, Clarence L. Gardner, beloved father, and friend, passed away at the age of 72 years young.
Clarence “Buzzy” was born in Kingston, NY. His passion for creating art throughout his life and love of long-distance running was shared amongst his friends and family from Rosendale, New Paltz, and Tillson, NY. His strong will and sensitivity are what made him special to many people.
He is survived by his oldest son, James Gardner, who has a career in Healthcare, his daughter-in-law, Lori Gardner, and their daughters, Camryn and McKenzie; his eldest daughter, Gueneviere Lussamaki, who took her love of distance running and eventually became a physical fitness instructor focusing in indoor cycling with the Kingston and Capital District YMCAs, his son-in-law Amaury, a French teacher, and his Grandson, Kaz, and his youngest daughter, Kathy Gardner, who avidly studied art because of his influence and is currently an English teacher.
Buzzy was known for his love of coffee, Mohonk Mountain, his artwork, and his long history working as a laborer throughout Ulster County. At the time of his passing, Clarence was widowed.
