Obituary of Jeffrey L. Hanesack, Sr.

TROY – Jeffery L. Hanesack, Sr., 82 of Troy, Entered Eternal Life on January 22, 2023. He was predeceased by his mother Cornelia “Mary” (Simpson) Boyer, his father Charles “Chuck” Hanesack and his brother Jim Hanesack. Survived by his stepdaughter Kristina Nichols, his girlfriend Maryann Dewey, his sons Jeffery Hanesack, Jr., Scott Hanesack and Bruce (Rhonda) Lovelyr, his siblings: Timothy Christain, Sr., Judy Boyer, Pat Oder, Bonnie Herald and Jeannie Dunn, his grandchildren: Tiffany Burnett, William Nichols, Ashley Nichols, Earl Hanesack, Katelyn Hanesack, Kailyn Lovelyr, Elyse Lovelyr and Cory Lovelyr, and his great grandchildren: Manson Burnett, Lotus Syzdek, Ares Burnett, and Nova Burnett. Four nephews: Timmy, Jr. and Carl, Jimmy, Jr. and Todd, two nieces: Tammy and Amanda, as well as several other nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews and friends also survive. Jeff was a graduate of Troy High School (Class of 1958). He served in the Navy (1958-1960) and then Army (1960-1962). Jeff was employed as a truck driver for JB Hunt US Express, Southwest, and lastly BTL trucking. He was also an instructor for Albany CDL School in Menands until he retired. He was a member of the Native Americans Motorcycle Club (AKA “Popeye”). Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, starting at 1PM at the Pleasantdale Fire Hall, located at 1181 River Road, Troy, NY 12182.
