Obituary of Edward B. Parker, Jr.

EAST GREENBUSH- Edward Bert Parker, Jr. 59, passed away at home on June 13, 2022. Born on October 24, 1962, he was the son of Edward and Jessie Parker of Indian Lake, NY and Lehigh Acres, FL. He graduated from Indian Lake Central School. Ed is survived by his wife, Lynn; sons, Terry Parker, and Dustin Parker; sisters, Holly (Robert) Hoffman and Kimberly (Ray) Frew; sisters-in-law Susan (John) Seymour, Robin (Steve) MacDonald, Belinda (Timothy) Roblee; brother-in-law Robert Wakely; several nieces, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a nephew, Christopher Keller. Ed and Lynn were married May 1997. They lived in his maternal grandparents’ home in East Greenbush, he worked at Curtis Lumber until his retirement due to his disability from cancer. There he made friends whom he called his “second family”. Ed enjoyed time at the lake with Lynn and their dog, Sophie. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A service will be Saturday June 25, at 3:30 PM at Curtis Lumber, 1657 Columbia Turnpike, Castleton-on-Hudson, NY 12033.
