Obituary of Amazon Eaton

BURDEN LAKE – Amazon “Butch” Eaton, 79, of Burden Lake, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Amaziah and Martha Eaton, and the husband of Judy Eaton for 58 years. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his daughters Jill (Eric) Kaarstad and Jane (Richard) Kaarstad, his grandchildren Jessica (Justin) Tibbitts, Richard (Stephanie) Kaarstad, Eric (Briana) Kaarstad, Adam Amazon Kaarstad and Emily Kaarstad and his great granddaughter Quinn Rose Tibbitts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Amazon was a championship bowler, avid NASCAR fan and was most happy sharing his home on Burden Lake with family and friends. Private funeral arrangements are being handled by Simple Choices Cremation.
