Obituary of Shawn Christopher LaBuda

SCHENECTADY- Shawn Christopher LaBuda, 54, of Schenectady, passed away on Tuesday, September 21st 2021 at Ellis Hospital following a brief illness. He passed peacefully with his family by his side. Shawn was born on May 22nd 1967 in Schenectady. He was survived by his mother Sharonlee LaBuda, sister Lundy LaBuda, former spouse Carrie Squadere and their five children: Brian Stewart, Donald Jones, Candace, Devin and Cassidy LaBuda. Shawn was known to be an avid, lifelong Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Red Sox fan. He was an incredibly hard worker skilled in trade work and was dedicated to providing for his loved ones. He was also well known for being the best comedic relief for his friends and family. Relatives and friends are invited to Shawn’s Celebration of Life on October 9th 2021 from 2-6pm at Stanford Heights Fire Department located at 2240 Central Avenue, Schenectady, New York 12304.
