Jean Norton... My second mom. Our families have been friends since before I was born. Jean and my mom (Gladys) were friends at Vanderheyden Hall and in high school and beyond. They both went on to work for NYS Dept of Education (different units). I would visit Jean at work when my mom brought me to work. Spent Christmas Eves as a child with Jean, Paul, and Jamie. Always amazed by the silver Christmas tree. Countless games at Troy Central Little League. So many memories from 5th Avenue... 10th Street... from 860 River Street... and 545 2nd Avenue. All my love to you Jean. Jamie and Paul... my very deepest sympathies.
