Obituary of B. Marguerite Pueschel

B. Marguerite Pueschel DELMAR- B. Marguerite Pueschel, 96, of Delmar, formerly of Holyoke, MA, passed away on April 26, 2021, at the Delmar Center (formerly Good Samaritan). Born on October 21, 1924, in Westfield, MA, Marguerite was the daughter of the late Adolph Recoulle and Bertha Wolfe. Marguerite was raised in Holyoke MA where she graduated from Holyoke High School, class of 1942. She was formerly employed by Pal Blade in Chicopee, MA. Marguerite was a long-time member of St Peter's Lutheran Church in Holyoke. Marguerite was named after her mother and grandmother but choose to go by her middle name Marguerite or "Maggie". She was known for her ability to beautifully write and send cards to everyone for all occasions and celebrations. She shared tomatoes from her garden and loved picking berries.... always giving the best of what she had to others. Survivors include her children; Diane Funari of NY, Sharyn Young of NZ, Daniel Pueschel (Vicki) of HI, Linda Finney of NY, Carolyn Burnash (Tom) of NY, Kevin Pueschel of FL, Laurie Pueschel of CA, Lisa Pueschel of MA, Jennifer Pueschel (Troy) of TX and son-in-law Kent Main of NC. Also survived by 15 grandchildren as well as 12 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Maggie was predeceased by her beloved husband Carl Pueschel in 1972, her eldest daughter Arlene Main and grandson James Young, as well as all of her siblings Esther Schmidt, Karl and Edward Recoulle. The pandemic year was especially hard on the elderly keeping them isolated from loved ones. Marguerite was a resident at Good Samaritan for almost 9 years and we appreciate all the care and love she was given while she was a resident there. Marguerite's life was celebrated by her family on May 1, 2021. Her ashes were spread, and her final resting place will be Forestdale Cemetery next to Carl.
