Obituary of Daryl Morris

Sunrise December 30th 1970 Sunset November 5th, 2020 Daryl Morris peacefully passed away on November 5th, 2020 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Albany, NY on December 30th, 1970. Daryl also known as “D” was the son of the late Edward Morris Sr and the late Emma Morris whom he loved dearly. Graduating Albany High School in the late 1980’s, Daryl later pursed local sales jobs and spent a few years at the Hoffman’s Car Wash before he became too ill. Left to cherish his memory are His Beloved Children Chinessa “Peaches” Morris and Diamonique “Dangerous” Morris, His Granddaughter; Shayonna “Shay-Shay” Morris as well as 4 Brothers- Edward “Sanko” Morris, Lanwood “Lennie” Morris and Virgil and Leroy “Bear” Butler and his very close niece Sonja Morris. Daryl was predeceased by his only sister Shirley “Susie” as well as brothers: James “Russell”, Anthony “Tony”and Otis “Bobby” Morris. Very near and dear to his heart he also leaves behind his loving companion Kimberly “Kimmy” Manigo where they have spent over a decade together with nothing but love and joy. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, close family friends and caregivers through his entire hospital transition also remember him as well. Daryl was a very known native of Albany, NY. Most people remember his smile, his laugh and the fact that he loved entertainment from his DJ Equipment, Classic Records, Old TV Shows and all family memorabilia that never left him. There will be a private service to honor Daryl with close family and friends following NYS guidelines. Daryl “D” is the eptiome of Strength and will never be forgotten.
