From Paul Hebert :
To Jason and all the Nitz family from an old acquaintance...so sorry to learn of Sandi's passing. Have many memories of hockey
events and one of her delivering stone for a dry well and all the men who were waiting for that load were astounded when Sandi got out of the truck and took off her Engineers cap to reveal that a woman backed that truck in and dumped the load perfectly!
Women didnt do that kind of work then back in the late 1960's or early '70s. She was one of kind-a pioneer.
May she rest in peace.

Mom , you were a great mom ! You taught us all from right and wrong. You taught us to stand up for family, to protect each other , to love each other !!
You taught us our work ethics, our can do attitudes our pride of our accomplishments . Taught us to be humble , to care for others , to help our fellow man !
You taught us to never stop trying, not to fail !
You had a smile and a laugh that was infectious, you laughed ... we all did !!! You got kicked down so many times in your life, but you never failed to get up and push even harder. I admired that !!! You were always doing something fun , riding horses , snowmobile racing , doing trick ski shows , and all sorts of crazy shenanigans ... I guess that’s where I got mine from .
You and dad always said I had a big heart ,... I got it from you !!! It’s hurting real bad right now , but I know it’ll mend , cuz you told me it would !!! Even though I don’t see it happening!!!
I wasn’t always there when I should have and didn’t get to say I love you quite nearly enough, and I ever so regret that now ! You did a great job , I’ll see you when I see ya !!! I love you Mom big kisses !!!

To the Nitz Family:
Our condolences to you for the loss of your mom. I considered her one of my best friends and always enjoyed being around her. Been years since we had any contact but our relationship goes back to 1970. She had a great sense of humor and always caring to others. Sorry didn’t have more time in later years but hope to see her again in the next life.
Yours Sincerely;
Dave & Waldi Cavanaugh

Dear Nitz Family,
I am deeply saddened to read of the death of your dear mother. I remember her fondly when she would be at events at CCHS during the 1980s. She was your biggest fan. Please know you and your families are being specially remembered in my prayers during a time when it is difficult to share tears and hugs. May God bless you all and may your dear mother rest in the arms of our loving God.
With sympathy and prayers,
Sister Anne Stephen
(CCHS 1980-1991)
