Obituary of Kimberly M. Davis

Kimberly Marie Davis, age 33 died suddenly at her home in Guilderland on October 27,2011. Born November 7, 1977 in Orange California, she was the daughter of the late Danny Davis. Kimberly is survived by her mother Donna Maylath of Slingerlands. She was the sister of Jeffrey (Crystal) Davis of Loudonville and Jeremy Maylath of Orlando Florida. Kimberly was the aunt of Anthony, Carissa and Madison Davis; niece of Kathleen (Corey) Nellis of Fonda, NY, Raymond (Susan) Tobin of Charlotte NC and James (Sandra) Tobin of Naples, Fl. She is also survived by her cousins Carly and Emily Littlejohn of Fonda NY and her finance Gary Lunderman of Guilderland. Kimberly was a graduate of Albany High School. She excelled academically and excelled in gymnastics for many years, winning many competitions. She graduated from SUNY Albany with a degree in Mathematics and Arizona State University at Scottsdale with a degree in Finance. She also attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the College of Saint Rose. Her passion for learning continued throughout her life. Kimberly also loved politics and was involved with various local campaigns. Kimberly loved the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona and hiking in the Adirondacks. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she would meticulously decorate each package with her special touch. She had such an attention to detail in everything that she did. She was loved immensely by her family and was a true role model to everyone who knew her. Always a twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes and a smile that would brighten up even the gloomiest day. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
