Of all the special gifts in life
however great or small,
to have you as my Friend
was one of the greatest gifts of all.
May the winds of love blow softly
and whisper in your ear
"You are loved and missed our Friend
and wish that you were here"
A silent thought, a secret tear
keeps your memory ever near
In Many Hearts Forever
On the Anniversary of your passing October 16th your spirit lingers in skies so blue.

October 16th, 2018 The Sun Set on an Amazing Life 5 Years Past
Gone But Not Forgotten - Those that touch our lives live in our hearts forever.
A Silent Thought,
A Secret Tear,
Keeps Your Memory Ever Dear.
Time Eases the Edge of Grief,
Memory Turns Back Every Leaf.
The comfort of having a friend maybe taken away, but not that of having had one.

October 16, 2022 - Four Years Gone - Gone For Years
Why?
That's what is asked. The truth is, we may never be able to know for sure why. But we do know that there is no single "should have done" or "could have done" or "did or "didn't do" that would have changed that why. All that love could do was done.
Everywhere -
There was no time to say goodbye.
I remember you as I think best, remember the happy times, but forget the rest.
In the scent and color of flowers
That gave you such happy hours.
On sunny days, under sunny skies of blue,
I think of you.
Where seagulls cry above the sea
And surf rolls in so endlessly.
Among towering trees that soar above,
In all these things that you once loved
I think of you.
I look for you and you are there.
In the gentle touch of the breeze
That cools the skin and swirls the leaves.
In winter when there's cloud or mist
or the rain that feels like bliss
As wood smoke lingers in the air
I look for you, and you are there
Your presence is EVERYWHERE!
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
"Tis some visitor, tapping at the door - only this and nothing more."

I just now heard of Stephen’s passing. The four of us: Stephen, Dorothy, me and Bill were quite a team. Now it seems I’m the only one of us who remains here on earth to celebrate all your lives. I hope and pray you’re all happy and at peace. I will join you there someday, with all the joy (and dogs) we can possibly handle.
RIP Stephen.
Much love,
John

I wrote your name in the sand...but the waves washed it away
I wrote you name in the sky...but the wind blew it away
So I built a tiny garden
in a corner of my heart
I kept it just for lovely things
and bade all else depart
and ever was there music
and flowers blossomed fair
and never was it perfect
until you entered there
And again here comes your Heaven Birthday
An Angel - A Shinning Light - A Sun at Noon - A Star at Night
Please consider this poem my special way of wishing you a Happy Happy what would have been your 67th Birthday.

It doesn't seem three years ago, the day you went away, the world lost someone special. Those that were loved don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, for as long as there is a memory they live in hearts forever. A beautiful soul is never forgotten. As time gently softens the burden of loss may beautiful memories fill hearts with peace.

I keep myself busy with the things that I do, but some times I pause and still think of you. Just sitting on the roof kicking off the moss. At least the sun has been quite kind. 10/16/2018-10/16/2020
