Obituary of Leonard Morsellino

Coeymans Hollow, NY

 

Leonard “Lenny” Morsellino passed away on the Second day of October 2018 at the age of 59 years old. He passed away in his home surrounded by the love of his family. Lenny fought hard against an aggressive brain cancer called Glioblastoma. He is survived by his Wife, Janet Christianson Morsellino, his oldest son, Drew and his wife Stephanie,  his son’s Shane and Jed Morsellino and his only daughter, Jillian Morsellino. Lenny will be missed by his grandchildren Myia, Nala, Luke, Lily, and Leah, His sister Joanne Morsellino and her two daughters Nicole and Christina, his Brother-in-law Keith Christianson and his Wife Lois and their children Kelsey, Paige, and Keith and sister-in-law, Patty Christianson.

 

Lenny was born on April 15th, 1959 in Brooklyn NY to his parents Joseph Morsellino and Marion Graceffo. He graduated from Brentwood High School in 1977. Lenny was a great family man and married his wife Janet Christianson Morsellino in 1987 and had 4 children. 

 

Lenny also loved his career in HVAC  which he lovingly passed on to his sons Drew, Shane and Jed who continue to pass on Lenny’s legacy through their work. Lenny was a devoted man of God and enjoyed years of missionary work at the Shiloh Retreat Center with his wife and kids. 

 

Lenny enjoyed music and was very talented. He played the drums, percussion and loved to sing. Lenny was known for having an infectious smile and brightening the days of everyone he came across. Lenny was a kind, loving man with a heart of gold and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. 

 

A celebration of Lenny’s life will be held on October 7th, 2018 at Gospel Community Church, 121 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, NY 12051, from 2PM-5PM, with food and refreshments to follow.
