Obituary of Kevin B. Homer
It is with deep sadness that the family of Kevin Bryant Homer (Kevin Lord) announces his passing on January 16, 2018. Born on August 23, 1974, Kevin was predeceased in 2012 by his beloved mother, Gail Jochum Blacklock, and loving stepfather,Charles W. Blacklock, in 2015.
He is survived by his father, Craig L. Homer. Kevin was a loving son, devoted brother to Scott, dear nephew to Glenn and Beth, cherished uncle to Amanda, Gryphon and Phoenix, and cousin to Brandon and Nicole.
A beautiful and gentle soul, he is remembered by many who were inspired by his impassioned bass playing and devotion to music, and for his absolute joy in making others laugh. He was a lover of felines, with a poet’s heart and sensibilities, and a Monty Pythonesque sense of humor and appreciation for all things medieval.
