Obituary of Melissa L. Richardson

Melissa L. Richardson 40 of Troy, N.Y. passed away on Sunday December 12, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Born in Albany, N.Y. on July 8,1970 she was the daughter of William and Karen Ague, and the beloved wife of her devoted husband Randal Richardson. As a child, Melissa resided in West Sand Lake N.Y. and graduated from Averill Park High School. For the past several years, Melissa worked as a head teller at the M&T Banks Wolf Road branch. She is the loving mother of David Ague of Poestenkill N.Y. Other survivors include her brother Timothy Ague of Poestenkill N.Y., sister Courtney Ague of Clifton Park N.Y. niece; Hannah Letteiri of Clifton Park N.Y. grandmothers Jacqueline Ague and Evelyn Casterlin both of Troy N.Y., as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and her best friend forever Cheryl Pangborne and family. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Janet Gargiulo and the nurses and staff at New York Oncology Hematology for the all the love and care they provided to Melissa in her 10 year battle with breast cancer. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions are welcome to be made to a memorial fund, which was created by her friends at M&T bank; donations can be made at any M&T branch in Melissa's name. Proceeds will be used to defray medical expenses' that where incurred during Melissa's illness. Donations can also be made in Melissa's name to the Community Hospice of Albany 445 New Karner Rd.
