Dear Family and Friends,
I had the privilege to meet Mickey through Sugar Ray Lamere, my husband and one of Mickey's best friends. I nicknamed him Mickelodian and so he was until he passed. Ray and Mickey loved Florida, singing and beautiful women. They both never missed mass. I remember saying that Heaven would be the ability to click your fingers and instantly be on stage, that they would never hit a bad note or have a sore throat. Bill Clifford, John Mardighian, John Ray, and Chrissy were all more like family than friends. My favorite memory was a Super Bowl Sunday. The Saints were playing another team. I told Mickey to bet on the Saints because there was no way that GOD was going to hear the uproar in Heaven if they did not. In the last few moments the Saints won, I jumped and shouted and Mickelodian simply stared at me...and never said a word. He was the Best man at my wedding to Sugar Ray and after he passed it was Mickey's sister who would call me and ask me to date her cousin John. If I had not married Sugar Ray I would never have known Johnnie Settanny my wonderful husband. They are all together now with all the time they need to do or go wherever they wish. GOD Bless them all for blessing my life and the lives of so many others. My sincere condolences to all his family.
