Obituary of Paul D. Morlang
Schenectady ~
Paul D. Morlang 61, of Front St., died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Schenectady on November 13, 1954, Paul was a son of the late Reuben and Dolores (Friss) Morlang. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High in 1972. Paul worked for Bev Pac in Scotia, and for years at the First United Methodist Church in Schenectady. Growing up, Paul loved fishing and hunting and later developed a passion for computers. He was jokingly known as the “professor” by some, because of his interests in developing new programs and problem solving. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Paul is survived by his daughter, Deanna Morlang of California, brother Jeff Morlang of Rotterdam, three nieces and one nephew. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Chris Morlang. Special thanks to hospice and the 1C Unit Staff at Ellis Hospital for the great care he received there. Services will be private. In Paul’s memory, please donate to the Community Hospice of Schenectady County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
