Obituary of Lois G. (Sherpey) Kraft

Lois G. (Sherpey) Kraft, 95, of Delmar, formerly of Hudson, died on September 12, 2015. Born in New Haven, CT, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Shufelt) Sherpey and the late James Lott Sherpey of Chatham, New York. She was the wife of the late Christopher J. Kraft of Hudson, NY. Lois was retired from a successful career in banking with Key Bank in Hudson, NY. She is survived by her brother, James T. Sherpey of Beverly Hills, Florida, nieces and nephews: Pamela (Lawrence Smith) Plumeau, Patricia (Stephen) Kotecki, Kathryn (Gary) Livingston, Deborah (Robert) Werrbach, Diane (Ken) Willey, James T. (Debra) Sherpey II, David (Elizabeth) Sherpey, Deirdre (Kevin) Flicker, and 16 great nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her brother Theodore Sherpey and her sister, E. Jane (Sherpey) Brizzie Sullian. Memorial service will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens in Colonie, NY.
