Obituary of Bernice G. (Reddy) Foster

Albany, NY- Bernice Grace (Reddy) Foster, 77, of Albany, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2015 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, with her loving family by her side. Bernice was born in East Meadow, NY (Nassau County, Long Island), a daughter of the late John Reddy and Rose (Nursel) Reddy. She survived by her three daughters: Susan (Randazzo) Dugin, Dawn (Randazzo) Romano and Heather C. Hendrickson, nine grandchildren: Tara Dugin, Tommy Dugin III, Megan Dugin Hux, Desiree Romano, Anthony Romano, Jason Shahid, Justin Shahid, Joshua Shahid and Brandon Lorence. Great grandmother of seven great-grandchildren: Mika Shahid, Landon Shahid, Roman Shahid, Jayla Shahid, Gavin Shahid, Mason Hux, and Lilieghonna Shahid. Many nieces and nephews also surive. Sister of Joan (Reddy) Shahid, the late Frederick Reddy, the late Veronica Reddy Reis, the late Florence (Reddy) Reilly, the late Eileen (Reddy) Smith. Bernice is described as “a survivor” because she was a very independent woman. She is fondly remembered for the love she had for her Cadillacs, her black cats, her coffee, which she enjoyed, collecting stuffed teddy bears, Santa’s, and all sorts of “nick-nacks”. Wonderful memories are recalled for the joy of decorating for the holidays. Services were privately held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to: Simple Choices, Inc.
