Obituary of Colin James McLean
SCHUYLERVILLE –
Mr. Colin James McLean, 74, of Schuylerville, New York, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home with his loving partner, Linda, by his side.
He was born in West Yorkshire, England, to the late James and Gerda McLean.
Colin was the brother to the late Hazel McLean and Heather Greenwood, who in addition to their parents, predeceased Colin.
Colin is survived by his loving and devoted life partner, Linda Pleat, a cherished step daughter Sarah Pleat Eilenberg, a son in law, Peter Eilenberg, and granddaughter Judith Eilenberg. All of whom will deeply miss and cherish Colin’s memory, especially his two fur babies Lil Man and Lil Miss.
Colin worked as a foreign car mechanic and a professional race car mechanic in past years.
A Celebration of Life for Colin will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 with a gathering from 2-4PM at the Dovegate, 184 Broad Street, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to H.O.PE. (Hope for orphaned pets exist) 3065 Rt 50 (D-1 Box 68), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
