Obituary of Patricia A. Suwinski
ROTTERDAM –
Patti Suwinski, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2025 with family by her side. Also known as Party Patti, she was a vibrant wife, sister, aunt, cousin and a loving helpful friend. She will be remembered for her endless energy, strong work ethic and quick wit.
The daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Savignano) Ryan, Patti was born on November 6, 1950, in Schenectady, NY. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Stanley Suwinski, her twin sister Terri (Mike) Mueller and sisters Barb Ryan, Sue (Vince) Romano. Patti was a loving aunt to Heather (Crystal) Mueller-Creek, Valerie (Christopher) Stoj, Paul (Christina) Romano, Laura (Ryan) Sprague, Shalan Ryan (Nick) also great nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Machaela DeSano (Morgan); Eric, Ryan, and Dylan Stoj, Benno and August Sprague; Camelio Ryan; Vincent, Dante and Elena Romano. She also leaves behind her beloved rescue cat, Pippi, who will miss her greatly.
A graduate of Mohonasen HS in 1968, Patti entered the workforce as a legal secretary. From there she eagerly joined the insurance world as a customer service rep. She developed strong friendships working for several agencies over the years, retiring from Town & Country.
Patti and Stan enjoyed traveling & cruising. She also enjoyed walking, sewing, gardening, reading and quilting. For at least a decade, Patti was active with the local chapter of Red Hatters. She even colored her hair red during this fun time. One of her greatest accomplishments was being the organizer for at least 9 class reunions for the Mohonasen Class of 1968.
